Though this 1930s-era house was meticulously maintained, its décor hadn’t been updated in 30 years. Its new owner, a lover of heritage homes and British design, enlisted Shingle & Stone to update the kitchen, enlarge the bathroom, and envelop the three-bedroom home with a soft yet bold palette that would speak to her weakness for fabric and wallpaper. The collaboration between the client, Beth Hitchcock, and Sappho went so smoothly that Beth joined the Shingle & Stone team soon after the dust settled.

The Client Feedback
“Although I had a strong vision for this house, Sappho brought so many fun and functional ideas to the table, from wallpaper on the dining room ceiling to clever ways to max out the style and storage of a small kitchen. Without exception, everyone who walked through the door said, ‘Wow!’"
