This beautiful turn-of-the-century home in an established downtown neighbourhood cried out for a more functional layout for the professional couple with two children who were about to call it home. Like most older houses, it had a cramped kitchen and very little storage. Working from the couple’s architect’s plans, we created all the interior renovation details to address their need for storage, love of cooking and collecting, and quality time spent together as a family. The backdrop to it all is a knocked-back primary palette of blues, reds, and greens that showcase the work of local artisans.
